Maxwell String Quartet breathe life into traditional folk tunes
During the pandemic, the Maxwell String Quartet began work on arranging traditional Scottish work songs for string quartet. This long term project aims to preserve the tradition of these folk tunes associated with historical trades across Scotland. Performances of these Worksongs with start in the 23/24 season.
