Angela has a degree in music and psychology and began her career as concert manager at Basil Douglas Ltd before founding Tennant Artists in 1985. She set up Sulivan Sweetland in 2000 to focus on conductors and solo instrumentalists. She managed Ravi Shankar for almost 30 years as well as other distinguished musical giants such as Jorge Bolet and Grigory Sokolov and several ensembles including the Florestan Trio for the 16 years of their existence. With a lifelong passion for the music of Benjamin Britten, Angela became a Trustee of the Britten Pears Foundation in 2017. A curiosity for other cultures and a keen trekker, she has travelled with her family through Indonesia, Brazil, Malaysia, Australia, The Philippines, South Africa, Tanzania, Komodo Islands and most recently Japan.
