Last week, Elena Schwarz conducted Orchestre de Cannes in a programme of works by Weiner, Haydn, and Strauss, including Haydn’s piano Concerto alongside soloist David Kadouch. The performance took place on Saturday 6th April.
Schwarz will conduct a programme of Honegger Pastorale d’été, Fauré Pelleas and Melisande Suite, and Dvorak Czech Suite in Nancy.
This week, Schwarz conducts two concerts with Helsingborg Symphony Orchestra; firstly the After Work Concert on 23rd January, and then a full concert of Lindstrom, Tan Dun, Faure, and Beethoven’s Pastoral Symphony on 24th January.
Elena Schwarz will be conducting the Orchestre de Pasdeloup in a concert at the Paris Philharmonie on Saturday 12th January.
On Sunday 11 November, Elena Schwarz will conduct Lausanne Chamber Orchestra in a concert at Salle Metropole in Switzerland.
We are delighted to announce that Swiss-Australian conductor, Elena Schwarz, has been appointed to the Dudamel Fellowship programme for the 2018-19 season. The Fellowship is an opportunity to further develop her craft and enrich her musical experience through personal mentorship from Gustavo Dudamel and participation in the Los Angeles Philharmonic Orchestra’s concerts, educational and community programmes.
On 31 May, Elena Schwarz stepped in for Mikko Franck at very short notice to conduct Bruckner's 7th Symphony with the Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France at the Festival de Saint-Denis.
