Anoushka Shankar, composer and performer of the live score for Shiraz: A romance of India, will perform live at the screenings of the epic silent film. Performances take place on Saturday 6th April in Dublin and Tuesday 9th April at the Royal Festival Hall.
Anoushka Shankar embarks on a US tour promoting her new album ‘Reflections’, with the first performances in Stafford and Austen last weekend. The rest of the tour sees her travelling to seven other states, including venues in Kansas City, Atlanta, Miami and Washington DC.
This week, Anoushka Shankar travels to the Netherlands to perform in a series of Concerts with the Metropole Orkest Strings conducted by Jules Buckley and frequent collaborator, Hang player, Manu Delago.
On Saturday 21 April, Anoushka Shankar performed Ravi Shankar's Concerto No. 3 for Sitar with the Pacific Symphony at Carnegie Hall.
