Adam Walker embarks on a Scottish tour with Scottish Chamber Orchestra this week (12 – 15 September) performing Nielsen Flute Concerto and Brett Dean’s Siduri Dances. The last concert is at the Lammermuir festival, where Adam then stays on for recitals with Christopher Glynn and Sean Shibe (17 and 19 September)

Friday 12 July sees Adam Walker return to the Wigmore Hall for a late night concert with guitarist Sean Shibe, performing a fascinating programme including works by Piazolla, Debussy, Takemitsu and Ravi Shankar.
On 22 June, Adam Walker performs works by Knussen, Debussy, and Joanna Lee alongside the Britten Oboe Quartet at the Aldeburgh Festival in Snape Maltings.
On Monday 15 April Adam Walker performs with Tabea Zimmerman (viola) and Agnes Clement (harp) as part of a BBC Radio 3 Lunchtime concert at the Wigmore Hall.
Adam Walker performs chamber music in Pars and Grenoble as well as taking part in a weekend of events curated by performance artist Marina Abramović at the Frankfurt Alte Oper.
On 22 February, Walker performs a recital of Widor, Milhaud, Messiaen and Boulez Flute Sonatas with pianist, Alasdair Beatson. This will be recorded and broadcast live on BBC Radio 3.

This weekend sees Adam Walker launch his exciting new chamber music project the Orsino Ensemble at the Aldeburgh Festival. A flexible format chamber ensemble with a central focus on the five outstanding wind players at its core, the Orsino Ensemble is led by Adam as Artistic Director with a mission to showcase the depth and versatility of the wind chamber music repertoire.
