This week, the Doric String quartet embark on their 2019 US Tour featuring concerts in Harvard, Burlington, Philadelphia, Schenectady, Harrisburg, Oberlin and Colombia.
Friday 8th February marked the first concert of Avi Avital’s tour with ensemble, ‘The Knights’. The tour covers venues such as Szczecin, Berlin, Dusselforf, Munich, Hamburg, Vienna, Linz, and Zurich.
This week, Vadym Kholodenko performs Prokofiev with the Copenhagen Philharmonic, Tchaikovsky with the Mariinsky Orchestra at Munich Philharmonie under Gergiev, and a recital in Flagey.
This week, Leonard is with the Pacific Symphony Orchestra, performing Shostakovich’s Cello Concerto No. 1 alongside conductor Carl St Clair.
This evening, Hadelich performs Beethoven’s Violin Concerto with the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra at the Birmingham Symphony Hall.

This week, Miguel Harth-Bedoya is conducting two concerts titled ‘On the Waterfront’ with a programme including Gershiwin, Copland, Barber, Higdon and Bernstein. Soloist, Martin Frost will perform Copland’s Clarinet Concerto.
This week, the Dudok Quartet will perform at the Heidelberg String Quartet Festival. They will perform programmes including works by Haydn, Pfitzner and Brahms.
This week, Schwarz conducts two concerts with Helsingborg Symphony Orchestra; firstly the After Work Concert on 23rd January, and then a full concert of Lindstrom, Tan Dun, Faure, and Beethoven’s Pastoral Symphony on 24th January.
On 17th and 19th January, Vadym Kholodenko performs Ravel’s Piano Concerto in G with the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra, under the baton of Gemma New.
This week, Avital travels to Hong Kong and performs in five concerts as part of the Festival, alongside the Dover Quartet.
This week, Hadelich is with the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra, performing Beethoven’s Violin Concerto in Various venues across the South of the UK.
On Wednesday 16th January, Eugene Tzigane will conduct a concert featuring Schubert’s Symphony No. 2, Hummel’s Fantasie for Viola with soloist Eivind Ringstad and works by Bartok, Kodaly and Weber.
This weekend, the Doric String Quartet will perform Mozart’s Quartet K575, Bartok’s Quartet No 5, and Schubert’s Quartet D887 at the Wigmore Hall.
On Wednesday 9th January, Eugene Tzigane will conduct the Norwegian Radio Orchestra in a performance of Debussy’s Prelude a l’Apres Midi d’un Faune, Ravel’s piano concerto in G, Debussy’s Nocturnes and Debussy’s Clair de Lune.
This week, Chloe Hanslip travels to Helsinki, where she will be performing Adams’ Violin Concerto alongside the Helsinki Philharmonic conducted by Risto Joost.
Elena Schwarz will be conducting the Orchestre de Pasdeloup in a concert at the Paris Philharmonie on Saturday 12th January.
Clara Jumi-Kang will be performing Tchaikovsky’s Violin Concerto with Musikkellegium Winterthur tomorrow (5th January) in Zurich and on 9th January in Winterthur.
Kalmar’s conducting of the Grant Park Orchestra in August 2018 has been featured in the top ten, with Chicago Classical Review hailing; ‘Is there any conductor currently before the public with the ability to draw consistently successful results across more varied repertoire than Carlos Kalmar? Certainly not in Chicago‘.
