Weekly News: We are delighted to announce that CHRISTOPH KÖNIG’s position as Chief Conductor of the Orquestra Sinfónica do Porto Casa da Música has been extended for a further three years. He returns to conduct the orchestra next month in a performance of Brahms Requiem interspersed with Rihm’s Das Lesen der Schrift (16 April). His final concerts with them at Casa da Musica this season will be performances of Mahler Symphony No 5 (17 + 19 June) before heading off on tour to Brazil.
