Florestan stands in the great European tradition of chamber music playing and is recognized as the pre-eminent Piano Trio in the world today. Its awards include a Royal Philharmonic Society Award (2000), and a Gramophone Award (1999).
Florestan enjoys a high-level concert career performing each season in the major cities in Europe and on tour in the USA. Highlights of the current season include Haydn series at the Konzerthaus in Berlin and at the Wigmore Hall in London, as well as performances in Vienna (Konzerthaus), Amsterdam (Concertgebouw), Brussels (Palais des Beaux Arts) and Antwerp (De Singel).
