Since her extraordinary debut in Paris in 2004 when she stepped in at short notice to perform the Beethoven Violin Concerto with the Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France under Sir Neville Marriner, German/Japanese violinist Arabella Steinbacher has become a fast-rising star on the international concert scene.

Her superb delivery coupled with impeccable technique have lead her to become a favourite with many distinguished conductors including Christoph von Dohnanyi, Marek Janowski, Charles Dutoit and Sir Neville Marriner. In a short space of time she has performed with leading orchestras worldwide, nearly all resulting in re-invitations including the Philharmonia, Symphonieorchester des Bayerischen Rundfunks, NHK Symphony in Tokyo, and Chicago Symphony Orchestra.

Her recordings for Orfeo have won numerous awards including the 2007 Echo Klassik Music Award for her recital CD of Spanish and South-American works, “Violino Latino”
