Mikhail Rudy is an artist of enormous creativity and charisma, enthusing audiences all over the world with his profound musicality and virtuosity. He has been the recipient of countless awards including the Grand Prix Liszt in Budapest and Der Deutschen Schallplatten Kritik Prize for his Shostakovich concerti with the London Philharmonic and Berlin Philharmonic Orchestras conducted by Mariss Jansons.

He has a passion for exploration across all art forms. His drive for experimentation has lead to the creation of numerous innovative projects, most recently “Double Dream”, a programme using two pianos consisting of partly improvised compositions of classical repertoire with jazz pianist Misha Alperin. He founded the St Riquier Festival and was Artisic Director for 20 years.

Rudy has amassed a highly acclaimed recording catalogue which includes the complete Rachmaninov Concertos with the St Petersburg Philharmonic and Shostakovich concerti with the Berlin Philharmonic and London Philharmonic Orchestras conducted by Mariss Jansons.
